A persons ability to communicate is everything.  It’s the ability to express themselves, to be heard and feel heard, to create meaningful relationships and friendships, and the ability to succeed in everyday tasks.

Now We’re Talking Speech Pathology and Psychology aims to have our families walk through the door and feel that they are a part of a wider community; and that they feel connected and supported. This is the approach that all of the staff at Now We’re Talking are devoted to. We are a client centred practice that puts connection, community, communication and of course progress, first throughout our journey together.

Now We’re Talking offers Speech Pathology services for clients from the age of 2 up to 80+ years old! Our services cater for a wide range of practices including Stroke rehabilitation, Speech and language delays or disorders, Autism Spectrum disorder, literacy, intellectual disability, activities of daily living, emotional regulation, social skills and so much more.

We are unique in that we are a generalised service. Although specialising in something in such detail, is fantastic, it can also be really limiting. We often have clients present to us are require assistance in more than one area. Being generalised, allows us to utilise our knowledge and experiences from a wide range of presentations to assess, diagnose, treat and manage our clients.

Our job is extraordinary, because we are granted the opportunity to be a part of peoples lives in the ways that matter most. From First steps to First words, for a 2 year old with a language delay or for a 60 year old who has lost all of these skills post stroke, we have the ability to directly benefit clients and their families, share in their wins and losses and be apart of their transformative journey
